[Fetal indication for termination of pregnancy -- from the legal view].

Evaluation of conditions determining foetal indication for termination of pregnancy must be based on the severity of the damage to the child and the degree of probability of such damage, as well as on the individual physical and mental capacity of the mother to bear the involved stress. If a viable child is born as a result of the termination of pregnancy, it is automatically placed from the moment of its birth under the protection of current legislation applying to culpable homicide and culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
