An analysis of the data on 273 cases of primary osteogenic sarcoma of long tubular bones, treated by surgery only, established a 3-year recurrence-free survival in 13.2%. It is suggested that the 3-year survival period in 13% of cases be used as a reference point in evaluating other methods of treatment of this disease.

对仅接受手术治疗的273例长管状骨原发性骨肉瘤病例的数据进行分析后发现，3年无复发生存率为13.2%。建议将13%的病例的3年生存期作为评估该疾病其他治疗方法的参考点。
