[Surgical management of fractures of the proximal end of the radius].

The problems of dislocated proximal radial fractures are discussed by presentation of 47 cases treated operatively. After operation, 74,6% of these patients had good results with complete elbow function. Special attention is paid to indication and possibilities of operative treatment as well as to intra- and postoperative complications.
