A theoretical study was made of the survival rate of some malignant cell types after fractionated irradiation. It was shown that with the fractionation regimes, which were equivalent with a reference to tolerance of normal connective tissue, the level of malignant cell survival depended significantly on both the radiosensitivity of these cells and the dose-fractionation regimes.
