The use of Sorensen's cenotic affinity coefficient in analysing three Phlebotomine sandflies communities showed and defined two types of highly individualized fauna: a forest fauna and one found at the edge of the forest. It was possible to align the distribution of specific abundances of two communities with Motomura's model.
