Instructional television graphics.

Instructional television graphics are defined as artwork and photographs used to aid comprehension of a concept presented through the medium of television. In this paper television graphics are examined for educational effectiveness and technical reproducibility. Educational effectiveness of a graphic is facilitated by utilizing the same criteria or components of instructional design used in development of the program. Technical reproducibility is more likely assured if the artist understands the characteristics of television as medium.
