[Sonography and endoscopy as complementary study methods. Case report].

Two cases reported here show that sonography and endoscopy in gastroenterology can be used as two methods of examination complementing each other. In the first case, sonography prompted the use of endoscopy for classification, whereas in the second case an endoscopic finding could be clarified by sonography.
