An analysis is presented of the results attained in 207 patients operated for isolated atrial septal defect at Centre of Cardiac Surgery in Brno from Jan. 1, 1978 to March 31, 1982. The paper discusses classification of the defects, the surgical procedure, results and complications, as well as indications and counterindications for surgery. Early mortality was zero. Emphasis is placed on the need to operate as soon as possible after detection of a haemodynamically significant shunt, i.e. before developing pulmonary hypertension.
本文对1978年1月1日至1982年3月31日在布尔诺心脏外科中心接受单纯房间隔缺损手术的207例患者的手术结果进行了分析。本文讨论了缺损的分类、手术方法、结果及并发症，以及手术的适应证和禁忌证。早期死亡率为零。重点强调在检测到血流动力学显著分流后，即肺动脉高压形成之前，应尽快进行手术。
