The results of amphotericin B and cyclophosphamide treatment of 10 cases of chondrosarcoma are discussed. A marked (50-90%) regression of tumors and metastases and complete remission for 3-18 months were observed in 9 cases. Decompression laminectomy resulted in regression of neurologic symptoms in a case of chondrosarcoma disseminated to the spinal column with concomitant constriction of the spinal cord. This effect was obtained during remission following chemotherapy.
讨论了两性霉素B和环磷酰胺治疗10例软骨肉瘤的结果。9例患者出现肿瘤和转移灶显著（50%-90%）消退，并实现3至18个月的完全缓解。在1例软骨肉瘤播散至脊柱并伴有脊髓受压的病例中，减压性椎板切除术使神经症状消退。这种效果是在化疗后的缓解期获得的。
