[Role of ultrasonic dopplerography in monitoring the effectiveness of treatment of patients who have sustained a stroke with decimeter-range electromagnetic waves].

The data on the high therapeutic efficiency of the local use of decimeter electromagnetic waves (DEMW) in stroke survivors are presented (a course of therapy consisted of 10-12 procedures). Doppler sonography proved to be a highly effective method of monitoring the treatment results. The technique makes it possible to ascertain some aspects of the mechanism of DEMW therapeutic action and provides the researcher with complete information on the intensity and the rate of the collateral circulation development.
