Much effort goes into the research, development, and manufacture of quality drugs to be used by the dairy producers. Food and Drug Administration aids in the process by establishing minimal requirements, reviewing data, and approving products conforming to their regulations. To misuse products or drugs is an invitation to trouble since little is known about the safety or efficacy of drugs other than for the manner in which they are labeled. Thus, the key to wise use of drugs is to read the label instructions.
