[Phase transition in a native collagen in the presence of salts].

Effect of two salts NaCl and KCl on volume change due to phase transition in native collagen has been examined at different concentrations of the salt in the collagen phase. The melting diagrams of water-salt system have been plotted in the collagen phase. The obtained diagrams differ from those of pure water-salt solutions. To explain the difference chemical interaction between collagen and salt is assumed.
