Abstract

Venous aneurysm not associated with other cardiovascular disease or trauma is a rare condition. A case is presented of bilateral jugular and mediastinal venous aneurysm, which was detected and depicted to a full extent by means of a blood-pool study with 99mTc -fibrinogen, undertaken because of concurrent thrombocytopenia. The aneurysm was confirmed by subsequent X-ray angiography and surgery. In radioisotopic blood pool study venous aneurysm, unlike arterial or aortic aneurysm, may be filled to the equilibrium state later than the appearance of the cardiac pool.

不伴有其他心血管疾病或创伤的静脉瘤是一种罕见病症。本文报告一例双侧颈静脉和纵隔静脉瘤，该病例因并发血小板减少症而进行了99mTc -纤维蛋白原血池显像检查，得以全面检测和描绘出静脉瘤情况。随后通过X线血管造影和手术确诊了该静脉瘤。在放射性同位素血池显像检查中，与动脉或主动脉瘤不同，静脉瘤可能在心血池显影之后才充盈至平衡状态。
