Effect of the chemosterilant bisazir on the testes of the spotted bollworm Earias fabia stoll.

Studies indicate a time dependent action of bisazir on nucleic acids, proteins, amino acids and phosphatases in the testes of the spotted bollworm Earias fabia. Significant reductions in DNA, RNA, protein and alkaline phosphatase activity and an enhancement in total free amino acids and acid phosphatase activity have been observed.
