An unusual acetabular lesion radiographically resembling osteoid osteoma appeared in a 10-year-old girl recovering from trauma of the hip joint. Abnormal growth of cells of triradiate cartilage displaced by injury is a possibility that is supported by observations at open operation and biopsy.
