Abstract
Case of unusual diffuse segmental lipomatosis of a part of the small bowel is reported. Other cases from the literature are compared to various pathological deposits of fat in the intestine. Aetiology, clinical signs, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, as well as surgical treatment, are discussed.
