The results from 198 own patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the vulva, having undergone surgical treatment and postoperative irradiation with high-energy electrons and photons, are represented and analysed. The own results are compared to results from the literature obtained by means of larger collectives and of various techniques. A differentiated concept for therapy is presented, taking into account the prognostically important parameters, and integrating surgical and radiation treatment.
