[Carcinoma of bladder diverticula in women].

Carcinomas of the diverticulum of the urinary bladder are only rarely observed. They are a rarity particularly in women. According to our knowledge up to now only 4 cases are described in literature. The case of the 61-year-old female patient observed by us was a pavement cell carcinoma which had already formed metastases. The questions of etiology, diagnostics and therapy are discussed. In accordance with the other authors it is referred to the very bad prognosis.
