Abstract

Respiration and oxidative phosphorylation in mouse liver mitochondria were studied during the first month following the injection of a carcinogenic substance. Both processes were shown to be accelerated, particularly that of phosphorylation. These findings corresponded with intensification of fluorescence in the mouse liver.
