Hospital information system, user external diagram of neurological clinic.

The hospital information system developed by Research Institute of Medical Bionics during 1976--1980 provides the means to enter and update files continually during a patient's stay in hospital. Particular external diagram provide the access the relationship for each user. Only data relevant to the user level is revealed by the system. For illustration, a detailed description of an external diagram of the First Neurological Clinic of Komenský's University Medical School is shown to inform the reader about the practicability of the system for nurses and physicians during daily routine.
