[Treatment of external biliary fistula].

The main task in the treatment of external biliary fistulas is known to be the radical correction of the major bile outflow. The individual pathogenetic approach to the treatment of external biliary fistulas, an adequate preoperative preparation and rational postoperative management enabled the authors to reduce postoperative lethality to 4.7% and to get good and satisfactory results in the overwhelming amount of patients.
