Abstract
On the occasion of cesarean sections the concentration of Brietal was investigated in maternal and umbilical vein blood after administration of 1 mg/kg body weight to the mother. The mean serum level in the newborns 5 minutes after injection was 0,02 micrograms/ml. No side effects were observed.
