[Results of treatment with bromoergocryptine in functional infertility caused by corpus luteum insufficiency].

Eighty women were treated with bromocryptine (Parlodel, Sandoz). They were infertile in consequence of luteal insufficiency. The luteal function got normalized i 83.6% of the patients, and 31.3% of them became pregnant. The dopaminergic treatment was most successful in the case of those hyperprolactinemic women, who were infertile due to luteal dysfunction only. The treatment was less effective in case of normoprolactinaemia, and in case of luteal dysfunction with other reasons of infertility, too.
