[Concepts of well-being in policy for the aged. Report of a study].

In this article an analysis is presented of the formal policy goals for the elderly in recent reports of significant governmental and other organizations in the Netherlands. The analysis is restricted to the policy area's of housing and work. Specificly the policy of those significant organizations is characterised according to the values 'equality', 'independence', 'individualization' and 'open perspective' that were identified. Comments are given on the possible consequences of the (strong) adherence to specific policy goals for the elderly.
