Abstract

The effect of hydrocortisone on phenylhydrazine-induced anemia has been examined in adrenalectomized rats. The extent of hemolysis in adrenalectomized rats treated with phenylhydrazine was significantly higher than in normal and adrenalectomized rats supplemented with hydrocortisone.
