Abstract
Normal-pressure hydrocephalus is a treatable form of dementia in which the patient presents with memory difficulty, slowing of thought and action, gait disturbance and urinary incontinence. Although normal-pressure hydrocephalus is usually idiopathic, it can occur with subarachnoid hemorrhage, head injury, tumors of the third ventricle or posterior fossa, intracranial surgery, meningitis or congenital anomalies. Treatment consists of insertion of ventriculoperitoneal or ventriculoatrial shunt.

正常压力脑积水是一种可治疗的痴呆症形式，患者表现为记忆困难、思维和行动迟缓、步态障碍及尿失禁。虽然正常压力脑积水通常是特发性的，但它可发生于蛛网膜下腔出血、头部损伤、第三脑室或后颅窝肿瘤、颅内手术、脑膜炎或先天性异常之后。治疗方法包括插入脑室腹腔分流管或脑室心房分流管。
