Allozymic and morphological differentiation in the South American frogs genus Eupsophus.

Four species of frogs genus Eupsophus were examined using electrophoresis at 19 loci, and 10 morphological characters employing discriminant analysis. The allozymic and morphological differentiation patterns do not agree. It is suggested that selective pressures are responsible for the incongruence of both sets of characters.
