The coordination of such classical methods as skin grafts, bone grafts or pedicled flaps with microsurgical techniques opens new areas in the field of hand surgery. The combination resulted in useful function of three mutilated hands. A clear concept and good postoperative physiotherapy are important to achieve good results in these cases.
