Abstract

Two cases of adenomas of adrenal cortex were examined. Both cases presented clinical symptoms of autonomic hyperaldosteronism. Histologically one adenoma had a benign structure, the other a malignant one. An ultrastructural and cytochemical assay of the benign form suggests that it is composed of so called "hybrid cells". Histochemically the cells of both adenomas were characterized by a 3-beta hydroxysteroid and succinic dehydrogenase reaction, the presence of MAO and nonspecific esterases and in some single cells 17-beta hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase.

对两例肾上腺皮质腺瘤进行了检查。两例均表现出自主性醛固酮增多症的临床症状。组织学上,一个腺瘤具有良性结构,另一个为恶性结构。对良性腺瘤的超微结构和细胞化学分析表明,它由所谓的“杂交细胞”组成。组织化学方面,两个腺瘤的细胞均具有3-β羟类固醇和琥珀酸脱氢酶反应、单胺氧化酶和非特异性酯酶的存在,并且在一些单个细胞中存在17-β羟类固醇脱氢酶。
