After a short introduction about the ERG and EOG different indications for electrophysiological tests are pointed out. By means of ERG and EOG it is possible to distinguish diffuse tapetoretinal degenerations from other ophthalmological, very similar retinal diseases. With the help of the electrophysiological tests one can find the place of damage of the very same retinal disease. Only in combination with other examination methods one can confirm a diagnosis by means of the electrophysiology.
在对视网膜电图（ERG）和眼电图（EOG）进行简短介绍后，指出了电生理检查的不同适应证。借助ERG和EOG，可以将弥漫性视网膜色素变性与其他眼科的、非常相似的视网膜疾病区分开来。通过电生理检查，可以找到同一种视网膜疾病的损伤部位。只有结合其他检查方法，才能通过电生理学确诊。
