Abstract
Six cases with posthrombotic obstruction of the pelvic veins are reported. These case reports demonstrate the variability of the clinical symptomatology. In addition relationships between the postthrombotic obstruction of the pelvic veins and hemorrhoids and varicocele are discussed. Therapeutical aspects are reviewed.
