Abstract
Simply more research will not answer the problem of evaluation of patient outcomes. Research in nursing related to clinical phenomena lacks a specific focus and sustained pursuit of subject matter. What is required is unifying theory, a recognition that the existence of ambiguity is essential to the creation of science, an open mind, and the ability to criticize oneself objectively.

仅仅进行更多研究并不能解决患者预后评估的问题。护理领域中与临床现象相关的研究缺乏特定的重点以及对主题的持续探究。需要的是统一的理论、认识到模糊性的存在对于科学创造至关重要、开放的思维以及客观自我批评的能力。
