Abstract
A rare case of hemangioendotheliosarcoma is presented. Our review of the literature confirms the difficulties we encountered in arriving at a correct clinical and pathologic diagnosis of this tumor, which seldom appears in the oral cavity, tends to be aggressive, and has a serious prognosis.
