[Initial mental disorders in rheumatism].

The paper deals with 11 cases of mental disorders appearing during the initial phases of rheumatism. Their duration and psychopathological traits were related to the development acuity and expressiveness of the clinical picture of rheumatism. The author indicates special traits of mental disorders in latent rheumatism, the beginning of which are at times difficult to estimate. Factors promoting the appearance of relapses of mental disorders are being evaluated.
