The author describes a case, where the N. pectoralis medialis twists its way round two arteries which originate at about the same level from the A. axillaris, one being an A. brachialis superficia lis superior, the other running to the lateral side of the chest. The said nerf forms a loop with the N. pectoralis lateralis. An embryological explanation of this variety is suggested.
