As a result of the study of immunological status of 49 patients with gastric polyps, the levels of T- and b-lymphocytes in blood were found to be decreased. Dysimmunoglobulinemias were caused by abnormal levels of one, two ro even three immunoglobulins (M, G and A). Skin reaction of time-delayed hypersensitivity was reduced. It is suggested that immune disorders in gastric polyps may provide a source of their malignancy.
