Abstract

The influence of visible light on the lethal and the mutagenic effects of gamma-radiation on E. coli WP2 uvrA+ and E. coli WP2 uvrA cells was studied. It was shown that visible light appears to reduce the yield of gamma-induced prototrophs in E. coli WP2 uvrA cells while the yield of prototrophs in E. coli WP2 uvrA+ stays unchanged. Visible light did not change the survival of gamma-irradiated cells.

摘要

研究了可见光对γ辐射对大肠杆菌WP2 uvrA +和大肠杆菌WP2 uvrA细胞的致死和诱变作用的影响。结果表明,可见光似乎会降低γ诱导的大肠杆菌WP2 uvrA细胞中原养型的产量,而大肠杆菌WP2 uvrA +中原养型的产量保持不变。可见光不会改变γ照射细胞的存活率。
