A technique for fabrication of individualized ceramo-metal pontics for fixed partial prostheses has been described. Rotated or tilted teeth are much easier to fabricate with this technique than when using the more conventional one-piece framework casting. The interproximal spaces resulting from use of this technique are more natural in appearance than is possible otherwise, and the esthetics of the restoration are greatly enhanced. The disadvantage of the technique is the added time involved in the fabrication and soldering of multiple units.
