The investigation of 20 patients with an injury of the median and ulnar nerve on the forearm has shown that absence of anesthesia is possible in the autonomic area after a complete interruption of one of these nerves. Indications for suturing the median and ulnar nerves after partial disturbance of their conductivity on the forearm can be established but on the basis of a clinical examination, intraoperative data with the investigation of electrodiagnosis before and during the operation.
