Rotation flaps described by Esser, Imre or Sercer are described, and the possibilities of closing defects by bi-lobed and tri-lobed flaps are mentioned. To close lip defects we prefer the Gillies-fan flap or the Esthander flap. Some other possibilities for repair of the upper and lower lip are described.
