All the open injuries of the pancreas observed by the authors were of the associated character. The clinical picture was determined by shock, internal hemorrhage and peritonitis. In none of the cases the diagnosis of injury of the pancreas had been made before operation. The authors recommend to suture injuries of the pancreas by an atraumatic needle with fixation of the omentum. The operation must be accomplished by drainage of bursa omentalis. Tamponage should be used only in continuing hemorrhage from the pancreas wounds or in a developing abscess.
作者所观察到的所有胰腺开放性损伤均具有合并伤的特点。临床表现取决于休克、内出血和腹膜炎。在所有病例中，术前均未做出胰腺损伤的诊断。作者建议用无创伤针缝合胰腺损伤，并固定大网膜。手术必须通过网膜囊引流来完成。填塞仅应用于胰腺伤口持续出血或形成脓肿的情况。
