Vaginaefixatio sacrospinalis vaginalis (Amreich II) was found to be a highly promising therapeutic approach to remedial action of prolapse of the vaginal stump. It is one of many possible abdominal or vaginal variants of surgical treatment. The surgical technique is described and evaluated with reference to the author's own patients.
