A case of diabetic neuropathic cachexia is presented. This unusual syndrome within the broad group of diabetic neuropathies is characterized by extreme loss of body mass and severe neuropathic pain. The loss of body weight is unassociated with glycosuria or ketoacidosis. Initially, the patient may present a confusing picture suggestive of carcinomatous neuropathy.
本文报告一例糖尿病性神经病变性恶病质病例。在糖尿病神经病变这一广泛类别中，这种不寻常的综合征的特征是体重极度减轻和严重的神经病理性疼痛。体重减轻与糖尿或酮症酸中毒无关。最初，患者可能表现出令人困惑的症状，提示癌性神经病变。
