Abstract
The results of using the operative methods of decompression of the gastro-intestinal tract in 151 patients with longstanding ileus and peritonitis are discussed. Methods of continuous decompression giving local effect upon the intestinal wall in the postoperative period should be used in the critical patients. The results of studying certain biochemical aspects of lavage of the small intestine are described.

讨论了151例长期肠梗阻和腹膜炎患者采用胃肠道减压手术方法的结果。对于危重症患者，应采用在术后对肠壁产生局部作用的持续减压方法。描述了小肠灌洗某些生化方面的研究结果。
