Pheochromocytoma is a relatively rare neoplasm, one which may also be found in association with other neoplasms. Preoperative demonstration of malignant pheochromocytoma into the inferior vena cava is uncommon. This is the first confirmed report of the ultrasonographic demonstration of inferior vena cava extension of a malignant pheochromocytoma. The coexistance of a primary bronchio-alveolar adenocarcinoma with this lesion has also not been previously reported.
嗜铬细胞瘤是一种相对罕见的肿瘤，也可能与其他肿瘤同时出现。术前证实恶性嗜铬细胞瘤侵犯下腔静脉的情况并不常见。本文首次报告了超声检查证实恶性嗜铬细胞瘤侵犯下腔静脉的病例。同时，原发性细支气管肺泡腺癌与该病变并存的情况此前也未见报道。
