In 7 patients with bone and soft tissue sarcoma super-selective angiography with chemotherapy was performed. Both showed a low rate of complications. In 2 patients we saw a total and in 3 a subtotal tumor-regression. A residual tumor was eliminated after systemic chemotherapy. Beside the tumor vessels treated in the first session, we found other initially unimportant ones. These showed increased size during subsequent angiography and allowed further injection of chemotherapeutic agent into the residues of the tumor. We found that each part of the tumor has its own separate blood supply.
对7例骨肉瘤和软组织肉瘤患者进行了化疗联合超选择性血管造影。两者并发症发生率均较低。2例患者肿瘤完全消退，3例患者肿瘤部分消退。全身化疗后残留肿瘤被清除。除了首次治疗的肿瘤血管外，我们还发现了其他起初不重要的血管。在随后的血管造影中，这些血管尺寸增大，从而可以进一步向肿瘤残余部位注射化疗药物。我们发现肿瘤的每个部分都有其独立的血供。
