Abstract
Sixteen cases of chromomycosis encountered over the period 1975-1980 are reported for the first time from Tanzania. In the tropics, in ulcerative or cauliflower-like lesions, especially of lower limbs the possibility of chromomycosis should be confirmed or ruled out by means of scrapings or biopsy.

本文首次报道了1975年至1980年间在坦桑尼亚发现的16例着色芽生菌病病例。在热带地区，对于溃疡性或菜花状病变，尤其是下肢的此类病变，应通过刮片或活检来确诊或排除着色芽生菌病的可能性。
