105 primiparous and 125 multiparous women have been asked for complaints of incontinence during their pregnancies. Multiparae suffered more often from stress incontinence, nullips reported a higher rate of urgency. The reasons and the influence of episiotomy, operative deliveries (forceps and vacuum) and pelvic floor training on incidence and recurrency of urinary incontinence during pregnancy are discussed.
