Abstract
The endoscopic diagnosis of gastric calcification has not been previously reported. We describe the endoscopic and histologic features of gastric calcification in a patient with diffuse interstitial pulmonary calcification of unknown etiology. It is suggested that this investigation may provide a convenient additional method of diagnosis, in a patient with suspected metastatic calcification.
