[Treatment problems in acute intestinal obstruction in the middle-aged and elderly].

Among 574 patients aged older that 60 strangulation of the intestine was diagnosed in 62%, obturation--25,8%. Association diseases were established in 62% of cases. Operations were performed in 67,6% of patients. Lethality rate was 22,2% (in recent years it was reduced to 18%). In the group of patients who received correction of bioenergetics and microcirculation of the intestinal wall with an original mixture the lethality was reduced to 8%.
